The Club Anthem

I've had the lyrics for a while, but I feel it needs to be stored for posterity!
So, for publication, the Anthem of the Strategic Gaming Club, premiered at our first Game Club Gala!

Writing Credits mostly to Mike the First.

Sung to the tune of "Brown-Eyed Girl"

---------------------
Hey where did we go?
days when the rains came
down to the Student Center
sat down to play some games

shoutin' out
"long live the King!"
talkin' like Pirates
and that sorta thing

buildin' roads
through foreign lands
three elevens...
isn't that a band?

all the game days we never planned
thinkin' 'bout all the time I've spent,
with you - my Game Club crew
you - my Game Club crew

Whatever happened
to tuesday is so slow?
and playin' on thursdays
after Chris' planetarium shows?

We play more games
than most people know
like DDR and Guitar Hero
and we just wanted
you all to know

that it's true-
the Game Club rules.
that's right-
Game Club rules.

Do you remember when
we used to play...

8 1/2, Apples to Apples, Big City and Carcassone;
Coda, Deflexion, Continuo, Dread Pirate, Easter Island and Gemblo;
Flea Circus, Gang of Four and Samurai
Jumpin' Java, Settlers and Pig Pile;
Poison, Quarto and Zeus on the Loose;
Ingenius, Intrigue, Loco and Loot.

All of these games
have one thing the same,
one thing familiar
something peculiar 'bout these games:

They're just like Quiddler.
